Godwin Emefiele saying goodbye?
Retired CGI; Isah Idris Jere, handed over to DCG, Caroline WuraOla Adepoju, who retired since May 31, 2023. Is it an error?
It was good news to Godwin Emefiele; then Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, and his Associates – the Associates included high and low in the Nigerian Sea of vibration.
That was when the news came, hilariously, that the CBN governor – having paid One Hundred Million Naira for the APC’s presidential Aspirant’s form, in 2022, might be on his way to contesting the Nigerian presidential general election of February 2023.
The popular grapevine had it then, that with the total backing of African richest man – Aliko Dangote, Tony Elumelu [another financial destiny controller] and other top Nigerians, and having secured the assurance of then President Muhammadu Buhari, the doors to Godwin Emefiele’s Aso Rock Villa was wide opened.
That was the period of good news and unlimited celebration for the man and his wild-dream co-travellers. Again, that was in the last quarter of 2022. But the good news eventually died when contradictions of voyage of destiny countered and contradicted the man’s navigational chart with enough rough storms that derailed the voyage compass.
Then, a time for real storm for this same man – Godwin Emefiele, came – a storm geographers defined as most terrifying in annals of human history. It was a storm that drifted Nigerian Economic and Financial destinies into irretrievable bottomless Pit of Hell. The storm killed industries, businesses and people – human being. And this was the storm of Naira redesigned and reconfiguration – or whatever name it was called.
That storm should have “killed” the man literally in many other countries of the world, but because Nigeria is a country of anything goes, he survived it. Or so it looked like. His survival of that terrible and violet storm was not totally on the strength of Nigeria of anything goes alone, but his “competent Director-General, Comptroller-General and even Destroyer-General, was one Major General Muhammadu Buhari, then the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces. Both were partner-in-crime of that storm.
The presence of the latter, in that scenario of gigantic crime against humanity, made the former escaped judgement then. Did he really escape judgement?
Huh! The hand of Justice can be very long. Sometimes, almost as long as the Pen, which is the only thing that is longer than River Mississippi [courtesy of General George Washington], Daniel is now coming to judgement with Godwin Emefiele – his chicken had come home to roost.
Hence, his time for bad news is here, but I am not too sure of the number of those his Associates – low and high, that might be willing to mourn with him in this deep xxxx-hole he is now.
President Ahmed Bola Tinubu struck first, by suspending the CBN Governor, and then the Department of the State Security [DSS] closed in for his arrest. The instrument the President deployed into this battle can be rightly defined as masterstroke. It is what the Military terms as killing the snake only by cutting the head off. Godwin Emefiele; the former Governor of the CBN [he is most likely not to go back to that office again] finally commenced his travails. Finally, I said.
Before or by December 2023, when the same DSS fearfully and frettingly moved for his arrest – an exercise that became aborted, Godwin Emefiele’s cup of crime against everything on earth was full. Yes, it [his cup of atrocities] was overflowing with all sorts of criminalities. This is not exaggeration at all, but solid statement of fact. If this was a fact, why could the DSS not moved on him boldly with warrant of arrest then?
The Guru can tell you, with very deep authority, that the slight dichotomy of unification between him and President Buhari he served, was not too much known to the Security Agency. This is on one hand. And in the other hand, there are too many other reasons that tied the hands of the Security Agency, and prevented it from doing what it ought to have done absolutely.
That is just the Nigerian Security Agencies dilemma. Wait and study the body movement of the one commanding you to take action, because the big man who is commanding arrest and prosecute might even be an end=beneficiary of the crime the poor security agent is investigating.
Amongst these many reasons were the numbers of Nigerian big men found to be involved directly or indirectly in many games of tabulations where Emefiele’s name is being mentioned as initiator.
Now that the man has been suspended from office and he is now cooling down with the DSS, The Guru can assure that this is going to be one of the most difficult cases ever to be investigated and prosecuted in Nigeria. It will be difficult for the investigators to bring to the public domain of the law courts all facts of the case, for securing conviction, for the mere fact that those who were not involved in these cases [they are too many and too heavy] ab initio – are too few.
Nigeria shall be shaking to its very foundation if the names of all those that are involved, from the beginning, are made known. I, ipso facto, have my very serious doubt that the investigation may become one of those that may last forever.
However, The Guru has the responsibility of beaming light around those facts behind the façade – the truth of what Nigerian people ought to know. For that reason, starting from now we shall be giving details of the intrigues because these are frauds that may anchor within the region of One Hundred Trillion Naira.
As this rigorous assignment starts tomorrow, Monday, June 12, 2023, in the studio of Lagos Talks 91.3 FM, there are other issues, that we cannot but also discussed. And one of them is the dirty game that is presently playing out at the Nigerian Immigration Services Headquarters, where Rauf Aregbesola; the immediate past Minister of Interior, succeeded in manipulating handing over leadership of the Service to a Deputy Comptroller General who has retired.
The Guru is collaborating with the new Federal Government of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu in bringing a new Nigeria of hope on board.
